Single and multiplayer online co-op RPG

Ravenswatch is an action-packed title steeped in the mythical lore of an ancient realm that has become plagued by demonic hordes. Note that besides options to join forces with others in online co-op battles, this RPG offers a single-player mode for gamers.

Ravenswatch has been envisioned by the same team of developers responsible for Curse of the Dead Gods. Therefore, common gaming issues, such as quality and playability, will never be called into question.

A growing threat

The magical realm of Reverie is being threatened by a group of demons, collectively known as Nightmares. Thus, players will need to take on the role of mythological characters in order to protect their homeland.

Built upon legends

The story of Ravenswatch is imbued with many well-known fairy tales that have been passed down through the ages. Examples include the Scarlet Witch, the Three Little Pigs, and even gods such as Thor from Norse mythology.

Progressive gameplay

The rogue-like nature of Ravenswatch is ideally suited for those who enjoy customizing their characters with different skill sets by resource farming and battling enemies. Note that it is also possible to create different character classes, each of these being associated with specific strengths and weaknesses. It must also be noted that this game contains violence and gore.

Version 1.0 patch

Ravenswatch’s version 1.0 patch introduces the game's epilogue, including a wide range of additional content, adjustments, and bug fixes — inspired by the reports and suggestions.

Carmilla the Dhampir joins the roster of heroes with her unique abilities, two ultimate skills, and 26 talents — a new champion to use for each difficulty mode from Adventure to Darkness that leads to different endings and unlocks new challenges, eventually guiding you to the final boss, Baba Yaga. Along with this addition, new skins have been added as well. These said skins include four outfits for each hero, including signature, traveler, master, and hidden outfit, that you can unseal through certain conditions.

The game’s general gameplay has also been improved. For starters, difficulty in chapters one to three is tweaked by adjusting enemies’ damage and health scale in favor of the players. Heroes’ healings and shields have been tweaked, as well. Consequently, heroes’ unlocking conditions are moderately changed. Moreover, Crit Chance and Crit Damage are now visible like the other statistics, allowing you to determine the chances of critical hitting and how much damage can be inflicted on foes.

On the other hand, more than 15 talents have been added for heroes, resulting in a more dynamic playthrough. In addition, magical items have received adjustments to make them balanced. Fortunately, reported issues before this patch are also addressed. Unlike before, it is no longer impossible to reach the Cyclops’ cave due to the Sinbad's Quest bug. Plus, non-functional keys when dealing with Boss shrines are now working. Lastly, the cursor no longer disappears and grass is now correctly rendered when teleporting.

The Romeo and Juliet update

Ravenswatch announced Romeo & Juliet as the newest playable characters for the game, set to release in May 2025. This free Hero DLC will feature the iconic couple, cursed by Baba Yaga, as they navigate the horrors of Reverie. Romeo, a fencing master, and Juliet, a sharpshooter, will be available for co-op play, emphasizing their inseparable bond.

The DLC introduces Romeo and Juliet as they seek to repel Nightmares and find a cure for their curse. Players must utilize their combined skills, with Romeo's fencing and Juliet's sharpshooting, to overcome challenges. The characters are designed to be played together, reflecting their legendary connection. This free update will be accessible to all players.

A top-down adventure awaits

Similar to platforms, including Diablo IV, Ravenswatch offers an immersive level of top-down gameplay. Melee attacks, magical spells, hack-and-slash tactics, and powerful weapons are only a handful of what players can expect. The inclusion of realistic sound effects and original hand-rendered backgrounds are additional amenities to enjoy.
