The fate of the fallen city of Avalon rests on your shoulders in the third chapter of Ravenswatch. In the Fall of Avalon, creatures of the Nightmare have overrun the city, and you alone can rescue the last bastion of Reverie from total annihilation. Alongside the latest chapter, the major content update finally introduces the long-awaited custom game modes that let you personalize your gaming experience to your liking.
A new sprawling map opens the gates to Avalon as you continue your journey from Chapter Two: The Shores of Storm Island, allowing you to reach level 10 and above. As mentioned, your goal is to save the once-glorious city from the grips of the Nightmare creatures and prevent its utter demise. Over 10 new enemies, including wolves, gargoyles, and witches, and Claws Master Nightmare prevail over the beleaguered city.
Plus, you can help Morgan beat the Headless Horseman in a themed quest and hone your battle skills against Boss Coven in a mini-boss challenge. Also playable are five pre-set challenges, offering fresh experiences for veterans. Finally, you can now create customizable runs with various modifiers, gain points based on the modifiers, and adjust the difficulty level of each run. Modifiers include removed timer, Quick Dash cool down, and more.
A top-down adventure awaits
Similar to platforms, including Diablo 4, Ravenswatch offers an immersive level of top-down gameplay. Melee attacks, magical spells, hack-and-slash tactics, and powerful weapons are only a handful of what players can expect. The inclusion of realistic sound effects and original hand-rendered backgrounds are additional amenities to enjoy.
